Couples committed to the May 7 "Our Anniversary Ball" met last week at the Hotel Allegro to ask questions, organize and view the foyer and grand ballroom facilities. Here's some of what they saw.

Welcome to Our Anniversary Ball
What: Chicago's first gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and straight Anniversary Ball--a celebration of unions and long-term relationships.
Live performances from "Glee" style show choir, The Chicago Red Line; the internationally touring Joel Hall Dancers; and retro-80's cabaret singer Melissa Young. Dance music follows with Chicago's DJ Oskar.
When: Friday, May 7, 2010
Time: 6:30 p.m. Premium Package; 8:30 doors open for Show Only attendees; 9 p.m. show with dancing to follow.
Who: Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and straight couples, family and friends.
Tickets: $100 per person for premium package to include 2-hour beer-and-wine, appetizers, red-carpet photo shoot and inclusion in video montage; $1,000 for table of 10 (both single and table tickets are 75% tax deductible). $25 show-only, limited availability.
